Thomas A. Brigger, Chief Executive Officer
Thomas A. Brigger has been with Celeren since its inception and is one of Celeren's founders. As CEO, he is responsible for the successful execution of Celeren's business plan and directs all of Celeren's business matters. Prior to his position with Celeren, Mr. Brigger was Executive Vice President of Limbach Company, where he managed the successful restructuring of one of Limbach's primary operating units, developed its Washington D.C. branch operations and managed national sales initiatives. Upon Limbach's acquisition by Enron Energy Services, Inc. (EES), Mr. Brigger developed and managed operations for EES's Federal Solutions Group and served as General Manager of its Mid-Atlantic regional operating unit. He has extensive experience as a senior business manager in contracting, real estate development and energy related fields and has held numerous positions in industry-related associations.
Michael J. Kelly, CEP, Chief Operating Officer
Michael J. Kelly serves as Celeren's Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Kelly is responsible for the successful execution of Celeren's business operations. Mr. Kelly has been with Celeren since August 2004. Prior to his role with Celeren, Mr. Kelly held key management positions in engineering and mechanical contracting firms, focusing on energy efficiency programs for commercial and industrial clients. In addition to his management experience, Mr. Kelly has extensive practical experience in the procurement and delivery of energy-related products for a wide variety of facility types and is a Certified Energy Procurement Professional. Mr. Kelly is currently an MBA candidate at the Pennsylvania State University and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
Donald S. Parker, P.E., Chief Technology Officer
With an extensive background in mechanical, utility and process engineering and management, Mr. Parker is one of Celeren's founders and manages its Technology Group. Prior to his position with Celeren, Mr. Parker held engineering and management positions with Merck and Company and Jacobs Engineering Group and founded BioSystems, Inc., where he served as CEO and Principal Engineer. Upon BioSystems' acquisition by Enron Energy Services, Inc. (EES), he served as Regional Director of EES's mid-Atlantic regional operating unit. Mr. Parker served as an unrestricted line officer in the U.S. Navy for seven years on active duty and an additional 8 years in the Navy Reserve. Mr. Parker graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland in 1976 and is a Registered Professional Engineer in several states.
David V. DiFelice, Chief Financial Officer
David V. DiFelice serves as Celeren's Chief Financial Officer and, as such, is responsible for all financial functions including internal and external financial reporting, federal and state tax return preparation, cash management, strategic planning, budgeting and financial forecasting. Prior to joining Celeren, Mr. DiFelice served as Chief Financial Officer for a number of early- to mid-stage companies, helping aggressively grow these businesses and structuring them for monetizing transactions. The combined proceeds from the sales of these companies exceeded $200,000,000. Prior to these experiences, Mr. DiFelice worked for seven years with the venture capital firm Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., where he was involved in numerous acquisitions, divestitures and due-diligence processes. Mr. DiFelice spent five years at the beginning of his career with the big four accounting firm Deloitte & Touche. Mr. DiFelice graduated summa cum laude from Drexel University with a BS in Business Administration.
Gerard M. McCabe, Executive Vice President and Corporate Counsel
Gerard M. McCabe serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Mr. McCabe was formerly a corporate attorney with Morgan Lewis with a practice focused on representing emerging growth businesses and public companies regarding mergers and acquisitions, corporate and venture capital finance, securities, contract and general corporate law matters. Prior to that, Mr. McCabe served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey, as well as a commercial litigation attorney with Montgomery McCracken handling commercial litigation, corporate investigations and white collar criminal defense matters. Upon completion of law school, Mr. McCabe served as law clerk to Chief Judge Louis C. Bechtle of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. McCabe graduated cum laude from Temple University School of Law in 1992 and received his B.A. from The College of the Holy Cross in 1986.
John P. McElwee, Vice President, Sales and Marketing
John P. McElwee has served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing since December 2004. Prior to his current role with Celeren, Mr. McElwee was President of John Carroll Publishing where he developed and implemented sales and marketing strategies for numerous clients in the Real Estate and Entertainment fields. Additionally, Mr. McElwee has worked for a Real Estate development company and has extensive real estate property management experience in both the retail and commercial space. Mr. McElwee, originally from the Philadelphia area, attended The College of the Holy Cross.
James L. Everling, Vice President, Management Information Systems
James L. Everling serves as Vice President of Management Information Systems for Celeren. Mr. Everling is responsible for Celeren's Strategic Management Information Systems. Prior to joining Celeren, Mr. Everling was the Chief Information Officer for the County of Northampton, Pennsylvania. Mr. Everling has over 20 years Information Systems experience in senior positions for Fortune 500 companies including General Electric, Hercules and Betz Laboratories and has extensive experience in the integration of diverse business systems to yield significant competitive advantages. Mr. Everling holds a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University as well as an MBA from Eastern University. Mr. Everling is originally from the Philadelphia area and currently resides in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, with his wife and two children.
William G. Brigger, P.E., Vice President, Industrial Technology Group
William G. Brigger serves as Vice President of the Industrial Technology Group. Prior to joining Celeren, Mr. Brigger was owner and president of Brigger and Associates, Inc., a developer of custom computer software for manufacturing plants, which was acquired by Celeren. Previously, Mr. Brigger worked in the nuclear power industry responsible for the development of computer models for nuclear plant control systems. Mr. Brigger holds a B.S. in Physics from Xavier University, an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, an MBA from Xavier University, and is a registered Professional Engineer.
